About Punch & Canvas

Punch & Canvas makes punch needle kits for people who want to make something with their hands tonight, not after a week of shopping for supplies.

Why we put the canvas on a frame

Most people who try punch needle and give up do so for the same few reasons. The fabric goes slack in the hoop. The needle is the wrong size for the cloth. The pattern has to be traced by hand before a single loop is made. None of that has anything to do with how enjoyable the craft is once it is going.

So every kit we sell starts with a canvas that is already stretched on a pine wood frame, with the design printed on it and split into numbered areas. The punch needle in the box is the one that fits that canvas. The threads are wound on numbered bobbins. You match a number to a thread and start.

What we sell

Every design carries a difficulty label, Easy, Medium or Detailed, so you can tell at a glance how much there is to punch. If this is your first kit, the easy punch needle kits are the place to begin.

How we like to work

We describe kits as they are. Sizes are the real frame sizes, in inches and centimeters. The photos show the finished piece and what is in the box. If a kit arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, we replace it at no cost, and unused kits can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
